How to Set Up Inventory in PracticeStudio

  1. Go to the Inventory Warehouses (App Button -> Setup -> Codes Setup ->Inventory Warehouses) and Add a warehouse. (screenshot) 

  2. Go to Service Facilities registration (App Button -> Registration -> Service Facilities) and select your service facility, then add the Inventory Warehouse. (screenshot) 

  3. Go to External Demographics (App Button -> Registration -> External Demographics) and Add a Vendor. (screenshot) 

  4. Go to Messaging Subscriptions (App Button -> Setup -> Messaging Subscriptions) and click on Inventory Item Re-order Notification. Add a subscription. (screenshot) 

  5. Go to Charge Code Setup (App Button -> Setup -> Codes Setup -> Charge Code Setup).  Add a supply code and check the Inventory Item checkbox. Click on the warehouse and edit the re-order information. (screenshot) 

  6. Go to Inventory Posting (App Button -> Setup -> Codes Setup -> Inventory Posting.) Add a transaction (either a purchase or an adjustment). (screenshot) 

  7. The Inventory Item will reflect sales and transactions (screenshot) 

  8. The Messaging System will alert the subscriber re-order the supply item. (screenshot)
